The Whiz Quiz team this year consisted of ten very enthusiastic students. Being defending champions without any returning on-air members, the team knew that is was going to take practice and study to realize a goal of winning. And practice they did. Practices were held at least twice weekly before and after school an an on-air team was chosen that would showcase the knowledge and specialties of its members. The team transformed from timid and shy to aggressive participants who weren't afraid to show off their knowledge. Although we cannot divulge the results of the matches at this point, we can say that we had an extremely successful season. Watch the matches as they appear on WPBS TV, Monday-Thursday @ 7:30 pm.
The team will begin to prepare for next year after Thanksgiving. All students in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend.
