Sackets Harbor Alpine Ski Club

If you love the cold outdoors, swishing through white powder, giving kids an opportunity to ski somewhere they may never be able to go, then you have a calling as a Sackets Harbor Ski Club Coordinator. Even if you prefer sitting inside, drinking hot cocoa but are really good at organizing and coordinating, then this club needs you. Please call Eileen Townsend at 646-3329 if interested. We would hate to see this unique club end.

Once again, our trip to Smugglers Notch was a great success. The snow was deep, the temperatures were just right. And the company was, as always, enjoyable. We all shared a lot of laughs.

We are in need of chaperones to help on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 until 9:00 p.m. once we start skiing/snowboarding at Dry Hill.Skiing ability is not required, nor is fear of being cold something to worry about. There is a nice fire in the lounge!

By the time this newsletter goes out, we would have made another fun trip to Greek Peak, February 7th. Our Wednesday ski nights to Dry Hill seem to be few and far between due to extreme cold or early dismissals because of snow storms but we still have lots of winter left!!!
