We made a $35 profit from our caramel apple sale.
Brownie ala mode sale was on the 19th and 20th of November.
Class of 2010 senior citizen communitiy service:
The Class of 2010 sponsored it annual
Holiday Dinner for the Sackets Harbor and
Hounsfield area’s senior citizens on Sunday
December 9. The free dinner is one of the
community projects the class conducts each
year. The students and their advisors,
Mr.
James Barber and Mr. Robert Hand, plan the
dinner, obtain food donations from class
members and local businesses, prepare the
meal, and serve it to the senior members of
our community. This year over fifty meals
were served to those who attended or as
take-outs to those who couldn’t be there in
person. The meal was a traditional turkey
and ham feast with all the fixings, including
homemade desserts. Of course, the dinner
would not have been possible without the
assistance of Father Douglas Comstock and
the facilities of St. Andrew’s Parish Center
and the generosity of Price Chopper,
Hannaford, and the Harbor Market. This is
the sixth year our school has conducted this
highly anticipated event and it provides a
great opportunity for our students to give
back a little something to our valued
members of the community.
