Government 12 - The Government 12 class has just completed a unit on the United Nations and U.S. foreign policy. They have also completed a research paper on a famous crime or incident in U.S. history and how the government responded to it. The seniors are now beginning a unit on criminal justice and rights of the accused. Their final exam will be a research paper based on a U.S./world problem and government's role in offering solutions.
Global Studies 9 - The Global Studies 9 class is currently studying the Enlightenment and American Revolution time periods. They are learning the connections between the two events. They are also learning how the "shots heard 'round the world" inspired the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, and revolutions of independence in Latin America.
Global Studies 9 Honors - The Global Studies 9 Honors class is also studying the Enlightenment and American Revolution time periods. They are beginning a research project on the lives of people important to that time and major events. The emphasis of this project, besides the historical content, is to connect ideas of the Enlightenment to ideas found in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
