Course Overview
This full year (1 credit) course is designed to provide students with a asic understanding of ecord keeping and financial management of a business. The course covers the entire accounting cycle for both a service and merchandising business.
Students learn by completing chapter exercises on paper with some exercises being transferred to computer spreadsheet applications. Students will also learn how to use QuickBooks Pro 2006. This is a popular small business financial software program.
This class is well suited for students who anticipate continued study of accounting or business administration at the post-secondary level.
