This month, the Kindergarteners had 2 healthy snacks with Ms. Kleiboer. We made yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit and rice cakes with cream cheese and vegetables. Everyone enjoyed making and eating them.
We finished up our unit on Penguins and made penguin puppets and a book about penguin facts. We hope to let each child take the book home to read to their family.
We have been learning about community helpers and are starting to learn to add. We began “sticker stories” that the children should be bringing home to read to you.
We all enjoyed participating in the Patriot Pride Parade!

Please make sure that you schedule an appointment for your child’s physical and immunizations before September 2008. Immunization requirements and a physical form will be included in the registration packet. Kindergarten screening is required by New York State Education Law so please mark your calendar with this important date.
